“You know song choice is really everything. I had to think really hard “Okay, what showcases my voice.”

What is appropriate for me as an artist? What do I want to make? Is this a song that could fit into something like a record of mine. And ultimately, will people know it. Those are the three big points that I have to follow when I am picking a song.

…. I think that’s what this show is about. Is taking the theme, and making it work for you. Not changing yourself for the theme. Um, at least that is how I am approaching it.”
