FREE iTunes Download – Pilot Episode of ‘White Collar’

October 29, 2009 1 comment

For a limited time, you can download the pilot episode of the new series ‘White Collar’ from iTunes. Click here to download! I haven’t see it yet, so don’t know if it’s any good, but I heard it opened with pretty good ratings.

Series Description:

White collar is about the unlikely partnership between a con artist and an FBI agent who have been playing cat and mouse for years. Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer), a charming criminal mastermind, is finally caught by his nemesis, FBI Agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay). When Neal escapes from a maximum-security prison to find his long-lost love, Peter nabs him once again. Rather than returning to jail, Neal suggests an alternate plan: he’ll provide his criminal expertise to assist the Federal Agents in catching other elusive criminals. Initially wary, Peter quickly finds that Neal provides insight and intuition that can’t be found on the right side of the law.

Norah Jones – Chasing Pirates (Music Video)

I first listened to ‘Chasing Pirates’ a couple of weeks ago, and I loved it then. I thought it was signature Norah Jones.

The music video is just as quirky as I expected it to be – what can I say – I love the song. And the video isn’t half bad too – liked the buildings-as-ships sailing through downtown!

Currently Listening to … ‘Baby Baby You’re My Baby’ by Herman Dune

October 29, 2009 Leave a comment

I always lurk on Said the Gramophone, since they always feature good songs I’d never had heard of in the first place. And I’m glad I did since I really dig ‘Baby Baby You’re My Baby‘ by Herman Dune. It’s a single off their EP ‘Don’t Lie About Me!‘.

It seems that I’m a sucker for tunes like these – sugary enough to give cavities – but just so inexplicably fun(!) with a hint of a wink. Something about that infectious, bouncy beat just gets to me. Add in delicious vocals. And I got myself a Piña colada in song form!

Listening to this song makes me think of young love at a beach somewhere in the Bahamas. No consequences… Just living in the now… Oh, to be that young again…

If you like the song, head on to Amazon where you can download ‘Baby Baby You’re My Baby’ ($0.99).
