Adam Lambert on the Cover of RockStar Weekly (Fan Edition)

Is it just me or is that one of the most amateurish-looking Magazine Covers we’ve seen so far? It’s just that I have a feeling that my young niece could’ve done a more professional job, just sayin’.

Maybe the Canadians out there can tell me something about ‘RockStar Weekly‘. The way I understand it, it’s a Canadian magazine with an online website that nobody in the AI bubble had really heard about until they started posting pretty regularly about Adam Lambert. And RockStar Weekly apparently liked the hits so much (plus maybe all that publicity about Adam cover editions selling really well) that they went the skeevy route – hence this ‘Ultimate Fan Edition‘!!!

I personally think the whole fan edition thing is pretty tacky, but it seems like some fans will buy anything… even an edition that covers an Adam dictionary (ahem, I’m gagging here, please), stories about fans, and a fan make-over (to presumably look like Adam – judging from that photo of a fan on the cover).

The magazine does claim that for every $12 that the magazine sells, apparently $1 will be donated to The Terri Sanvicente Funeral & Child Benefit Fund (a fan who was tragically murdered last Christmas). So, there’s that, I guess…

ETA : Now this is a fan posting that really touched me – by Sean Patrick:

… because after being in the closet for so long and being told I was a freak, I didn’t belong, the world hates me……to see a man stand up there and say, this is who I am and fuck you if you don’t like it. Was the most fucking amazing thing I had ever seen, Adam.
