Hey Nook owners! Did you know that B&N has Free Fridays! Too bad they’re a bit stingy in the giving department, it’s just one eBook!

Here’s their Free Friday’s eBook – Scandal Sheet by Gemma Halliday. Remember what I said about it being the unofficial trashy romance novels week, so in line with that, guess you won’t be surprised that this is a Romance (Mystery/Comedy) – although you’d have guessed that just from the cover already.

Scandal Sheet‘ by Gemma Halliday is available for FREE download on the Barnes & Noble site (hmmm, there isn’t even a Kindle version, just DTB format on Amazon). Just click here to download! This is the author’s first Hollywood Headlines Mystery Romance. Gemma Halliday just recently released the 2nd book in the series The Perfect Shot, so check it out too!

Book Description:

Gossip columnist Tina is stopped in her tracks when she learns one of the celebrities she’s reported on wants her dead.

Teamed with an oversized bodyguard, a bubbly blonde, and an alcoholic obituary writer, Tina sets off to find out which juicy piece of Hollywood gossip is worth killing over.

    “unofficial trashy romance novels week”
    Ouch!

Tabloids, sex scandals, murder, blackmail… yeah, you’re right. It’s pretty trashy. No one should read this dreck. Walk way, do not download…

Hey, it was a running joke I was making the entire week since all the novels being released for free were all in the romance genre! Didn’t mean to hurt your feelings at all.

No worries. If we trashy romance writers are known for anything, it’s our ability to take a joke. 😉
