Round-up of FREE Music – It’s a Mega Post!
I’ve been so caught up playing catch up to the free ebooks bombs that Amazon has been lobbing lately that I haven’t been able to post much about the legally free music you can get from the web! There’s so much available, that it would be silly of me to make multiple posts, so I’ll just round them all up here 🙂
The FREE Music Downloads:
- For lovers of classical music, specifically Johann Sebastian Bach, “this website offers free downloads of the complete extant organ works of Johann Sebastian Bach, recorded by Dr. James Kibbie from 2007 to 2009 on original baroque organs in Germany.” That’s 320 free tracks! Just head on to their catalog page or search page, and grab what you want!
- LiveFish radio offers high quality downloads of music, and right now, they are offering the “PHISH: LIVE BAIT VOL. 03” as a free download!
- XO Publicity is offering a free album of Holiday Music titled ‘xo for the holidays volume III‘ (11 tracks) and you can still get volume I and volume II free too!
- Spin magazine gives away free music monthly, and they have 13 new free tracks for December! Just click here or use this iTunes download promo Code: 9TJEJXAXHKLE (Code Expiration: 12/31/10)
- The Secret Sisters band is offering a free download of “Tennessee Me” from their debut album if you sign up for their mailing list.
- The Euforquestra, a band with an “Afro-Caribbean-Barnyard-Funk” sound, is offering their album ‘Soup’ as a FREE download on their official website. If you like it, spread the word!
- The Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey band is offering a FREE download of their 13-track album ‘Winterwood’. Just head to their website, and scroll down until you see the box for Winterwood. All they want in return is your e-mail address!
- Breathwork Meditation instructor Stephanie Jones with Vital Juice is offering the ‘Stephanie Jones’ Breathwork Meditation Playlist‘ for free. Just click on the down arrows on each track to download! Game Description
Play the popular matching game Mahjong Solitaire on Kindle – anytime, anywhere.
In Mahjong Solitaire, you match pairs of identical tiles in order to remove them from the board. Only free tiles can be matched. Tiles are considered free if they do not have other tiles to either the left or right of them, or on top of them. The objective of the game is to clear all the tiles from the board. The game ends when all tiles have been removed or when there are no more free tiles left to match.
Mahjong Solitaire tracks the number of pairs of free tiles available to be matched for you. In addition, the game allows for unlimited undos, and contains a Hint feature that will give you suggestions for your next move, as well a Shuffle feature that will rearrange the tiles when you get stuck.
Mahjong Solitaire provides 10 different game board layouts to choose from. The game maintains game statistics that track your best time for each layout finished.
