Hey, it’s American Idol time again! So, I did tune in to the second episode (Pittsburgh Auditions) and that was a bit different, wasn’t it? Looks like they weeded out the bad auditions for once, and even with the 19-year-old coal miner, the problem was that he chose the wrong song. Anyway, the audition that I did like the best was from 26-year-old Reed Grimm who I actually thought would be a “joke” auditioner. You know, given that he looked like he’d just rolled out of bed and chose to sing the theme song from ‘Family Matters’. He’s a bit too spazzy, but I did like the unbridled joy that just suffused him as he was singing. High on life, high on music, high on performing? Well, he looked high on something definitely 😉 .

Was pretty shocked by how sedate and normal his ‘Road to Hollywood’ interview was actually.
