One of my fave books is Seth Grahame-Smith’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, so I was super excited when I learned that Tim Burton was producing the movie adaptation. The trailer just came out so I had to see what’s in store for us. And… I sure do hope the movie will turn out much better than this trailer – which strikes me as too slick and stylistic! Where’s the grit and real horror? The only good scene from the trailer is when young Abe just obliterates that tree with one fell swoop.
