Bricks Classic (An Arcade-Style Game for Kindle)‘ by Applications Innovations is available on the Amazon Kindle site for $0.99. Just click here to download!

Game Description

Bricks Classic is a retro-style game where you control a paddle that is used to bounce a block up towards bricks that you are trying to destroy.

The game consists of forty brick-busting levels. Each level consists of varying numbers of three types of bricks that have different levels of destructibility: cracked bricks (1 hit to destroy), white bricks (2 hits to destroy), and steel bricks (cannot be destroyed). The goal of each level is to destroy all the breakable bricks before you are able to move onto the next level.

Bricks Classic is recommended for anyone who enjoys animated classic arcade games.

(American Idol) My Favorite from the Top 12 Girls – Jessica Sanchez (Love You I Do)

(view her performance on AmericanIdol.Com)

Hey, it’s American Idol live shows again! Okay, I tuned in to the Top 12 Girls performance night this time, and man – those were some pretty painful-to-listen-to performances (Exhibit A – Haley Johnson who mangled “Sweet Dreams” by the Eurythmics)! And can we please ban Adele songs (which singers not named Adele can’t do justice to anyway). Judges are completely useless, with Randy pretty much the only one offering criticism (albeit in his usual incoherent fashion).

I thought the semifinalist who was most comfortable on stage (and sounded the best – even with a sore throat) was Jessica Sanchez (who performed “Love You I Do” from the musical Dreamgirls). I just wish her vibrato wasn’t so pronounced… and I hope she learns to conserve her voice if she survives for the long haul. Second best for me was Shannon Magrane who sang “There is a Candle” by Kathy Troccoli. I doubt if anyone is really familiar with the song, so hopefully, that doesn’t hurt her.

For me, these two sixteen-year-olds were the most memorable for the night. How about you, who did you like?
