Beleaguered succubus struggles to escape her contract with the devil.

I wanted to write a book about someone who was trapped in an impossible situation, and yet still had the courage to fight for her freedom. I’ve always been fascinated by stories of demons and angels, so using a succubus as the main character seemed like a good fit. Also, because I didn’t want the story to become too grim, I added a splash of chick lit to keep things lighthearted.

My favorite character is a young man named Tommy who has a special sensitivity to otherworld. He’s kind and compassionate, and is the antithesis of the cruel demon overlord who rules the main character, Lilith Straight’s, life.

Yes, I teach English at a community college. I like having a day job since it gets me out of my head and away from my desk. I enjoy being in the classroom and interacting with students and fellow teachers. If I didn’t have a real job, I’d be stuck in my office all day, and that wouldn’t be good!

I’m currently working on the third book in the Lilith Straight series (hopefully, it will be out in December). I’m also working on another urban fantasy that involves a wannabee actress, a vampire, and the owner of a comic book store.
