Describe A Charming Crime (Magical Cures Mystery Series) in ten words or less

Magical, fun and full of mystery!

Where or how did you come up with the idea for your story?

I wanted a magical community with a lot of fun and quirky characters. I started talking out loud, but not too long. June Heal started telling me her story! I began to write it all down and viola…THE MAGICAL CURE MYSTERY SERIES was born!

Which of your characters is closest to your heart and why?

Hmm….probably June. She’s feisty, smart and fun. She’s everything I want to be:)

Do you have a day job? If yes, tell us about it and how did that affect your writing / publishing process?

I do! I’m a Developmental Child Therapist. It really doesn’t affect me because I work half days and it gets me geared up to get some creative writing in when I get home.

It’s great to be able to escape into my own little made up world.

Tell us about an upcoming book or project you’re excited about

In September the second book in the Magical Cures Mystery Series, A CHARMING CURE, will be released. I’m so excited because I have the BEST STREET TEAM and online release parties! I love, love, love giving back to my readers.
