About RandomizeME!

About the blog:

Just a blog to post about anything under the sun that interests ME (well, actually, now US)! That of course accounts for the wildly disparate menu topics we have up on the homepage.

From Liza and Arca: Our interests (used to include playing the Sims 2 for Arca) and now run more towards gadgets/ technology, and hunting down free (legal) stuff – a lot of books and music are actually made available for free by their publishers. We love to read, write about a whole lotta nonsense and listen to music. Occasionally, we also post reviews of songs/ albums / books that we’ve read. We pay good money for these stuff, so we may get pretty nasty sometimes when we feel like we’ve wasted money on an inferior product. If you’d like us to write a review about your book or music or whatever, hit us up! We’re game with that!

From Hope: I interact with Indie authors and am in charge of the ‘5 Questions’ and ‘Indie Saturday’ features on the blog!

DECLARATION

Just wanted to declare that WordPress.com has activated WordAds (hence the discrete ads you see) and previously, Ad Control on this blog (whataya know, we qualified!) which enables Skimlinks (this is a service that converts any links into affiliate links, if applicable).

Also, we are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. Basically, that means that when you click through the links here and make a qualified purchase in Amazon, we do get a (tiny – around 4%) commission from Amazon (for example). These extra bucks enable us to support our favorite authors and musicians, so thank you!

P.S. If you guys notice any links have gone bad, please be good enough to leave us a comment to warn us so we can fix it. Thanks!

P.P.S. Sync your files online and across computers with Dropbox. 2GB account is free! http://bit.ly/DzFHU

How-tos of acquiring free products for review?

    Thanks,

Oh, unfortunately I can’t really offer a how-to for that – I don’t really get any products for review, but based on what I see other book blogs do, they just write the publishers directly.

I check your website devery morning and have bought several books that I have found there. January 23, 2012, was the last day that the website updated for me. Are you still updating your website? Do I have to subscribe to it? It is actually one of my favorite places to find free books. I like the way the website it presented.
    Thanks,
    Katheen D. Richter
