January 20, 2010 Leave a comment

It’s Oprah Day! And I’d have to say that it’s a really good episode – many happy fans today! I can’t find YouTube of Susan Boyle’s interview as of now Let’s enjoy Oprah’s interview with Susan Boyle & also SuBo’s live performance of ‘Who I Was Born To Be’ a track off her multi-platinum debut CD ‘I Dreamed A Dream‘. Huge production for her with the orchestra and choir.

Great Job, SuBo!

Preview 30sec Snippets of ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ by Susan Boyle

November 5, 2009 6 comments

Update : You should hear the songs now – my previous file had exhausted its bandwidth.

Susan Boyle’s album ‘I Dreamed A Dream‘ is coming out November 23, and I actually expect her to be the top selling artist on that day. Yes, really, if you total world-wide sales. People are sentimental suckers at heart and you can’t beat her story. All they have to do is show her audition clip for ‘Britan’s Got Talent’ in commercials and it’s ka-ching! I bet a lot of unsuspecting grandmas will find this cd in their Christmas stockings… (but hint : the cool grandmas want Adam Lambert. Really)

Anyway, have a listen to 30 second previews of the songs from her album. (Here’s a DL link) My problem so far is that there is absolutely no cohesiveness to it – there’s even a Christmas carol snuck in! She sounds great though – she records better than she sings live IMO – from the previews, I really like ‘How Great Thou Art’.

Track Listing:

1. Wild Horses
2. I Dreamed A Dream
3. Cry Me A River
4. How Great Thou Art
5. You’ll See
6. Daydream Believer
7. Up To The Mountain
8. Amazing Grace
9. Who I Was Born To Be
10. Proud
11. The End of The World
12. Silent Night

Vodpod videos no longer available.

more about "Susan Boyle at Britain’s Got Talent", posted with vodpod

from Talented Susan looks to have the last laugh (By SCOTT McANGUS)

“SHE lives alone with her ten-year-old cat, has never been kissed, and is teased by children in the street. But 48-year-old Susan Boyle could just be the UK’s next singing sensation.

I love her, she was having such a ball on that stage 🙂

ETA: Had to change the video since those effin’ YT users kept on disabling embedding.
