Okay, I totally missed Kris Allen’s performance of his new single ‘Vision of Love‘ from his newly released sophomore album ‘Thank You Camellia‘ (iTunes, Amazon) on LIVE! with Kelly, and when I went searching on YouTube, all I could find was this horribly not-in-sync video that everyone kept linking to.
Anyway, good thing that LIVE! with Kelly (Official Site) uploads videos of performances on the show, so enjoy this lovely in-sync one!

(American Idol Top 7 Redux) Kris Allen Performs The Vision of Love!
Totally forgot that Kris Allen was slated to perform during the American Idol Top 7 Redux results night! Good thing that American Idol finally has an Official YouTube account where you can watch all the videos you’ve missed from this season (with HD too)! (Very helpful for me since I’ve been too bored to slog it out live).
So, anyway, if you missed it too, here’s Season 8 winner Kris Allen returning to A.I. to perform his new single “The Vision of Love“! He sounds great (and I think I like the song better live than recorded)! Plus it doesn’t hurt that he looked so cute and cuddly 🙂 (I miss Kradam! lol)

Great to see Season 8 American Idol winner Kris Allen out supporting the LGBT community, especially the youth at the Trevor Live! event (12/04/11). Wonder what’s up with him lately – I know he’s been recording for his sophomore album but nothing concrete really. Time for new music, Kris!

Lifetime TV’s The Balancing Act (A Morning Women’s Television Show) just posted an extended interview with Kris Allen on their site. I’ve embedded it here for your convenience (there’s a ripped copy up on YouTube also).
It’s a pretty long interview (the whole two part segment runs around 11 minutes), but if you’re a Kris Allen fan, you should check it out. The hosts are very enthusiastic and complimentary about Kris, and even though there’s the whole obligatory rehashing of American Idol, Kris does get to talk about his post-Idol life (opening for different big acts last year, his trip to Haiti and the other charitable organizations he supports, and gets in a pretty good plug for his latest single Alright With Me).

Hey, hey, hey – taking a break to greet everyone who have their freak out on for Halloween!
Mind helping me out? I’m trying to collect all the photos that the Idols (and their dearests) send out of themselves in their Halloween finest. So far, Kris (& Katy) Allen have been mighty obliging, but I’m drawing a blank with a lot of idols.
