Kris Allen on the Bonnie Hunt Show! (Interview & Performance)

November 30, 2009 Leave a comment

Yay, with new Kris videos! I’ve been missing Kris Allen with the Adam storm suddenly hitting.

Kris Allen was a guest on the Bonnie Hunt Show, and thank goodness for YouTube since I totally forgot about it! Enjoy! I hope there’s a corresponding spike in sales… ETA : Apparently, Kris also sang “The Christmas Song” but that will be aired in a future episode, maybe closer to Christmas?

Interview – Seriously, Kris is like the coolest guy ever. See how he’s so chill about Adam and the AMAs?

(Scan via IDF)

Yeah, I have no idea what Galaxie Magazine is either, but according to the poster from IDF, it’s a magazine that is circulated in Malaysia and Singapore.

I just like seeing Adam on the cover of any magazine! LOL Hey, that’s good promotion – wonder if he’s selling well in Asian countries? It would be very cool if he is!

Read Online Full – ‘The Gifted Gabaldón Sisters: A Novel’ By Lorraine López

November 30, 2009 Leave a comment

Product Description:

Having lost their mother in early childhood, the Gabaldón sisters consider Fermina, their elderly Pueblo housekeeper, their surrogate Grandmother. The mysterious Fermina love the girls as if they are her own, and promises to endow each with a “special gift” to be received upon her death.

Mindful of the old woman’s mystical ways, the sisters believe Fermina’s gifts, bestowed based on their natural talents, magically enhance their lives. The oldest sister, Bette Davis Gabaldón, always teased for telling tales, believes her gift is the power to persuade anyone, no matter how outlandish her story. Loretta Young, who often prefers pets to people, assumes her gift is the ability to heal animals. Tough-talking tomboy, Rita Hayworth believes her gift is the ability to curse her enemies. And finally, Sophia Loren, the baby of the family, is sure her ability to make people laugh is her legacy.

As the four girls grow into women they discover that Fermina’s gifts come with complicated strings, and what once seemed simple can confuse over time. Together they learn the truth about their mysterious caretaker, her legacy, and the family secret that was nearly lost forever in the New Mexican desert.

Click here or on the book cover above to be able to read the novel in its entirety online (hurry, since it’s not indicated when this offer expires).

It’s not really a free e-book in the sense that you can download and read later at your leisure, but hey, beggars can’t be choosers, right?

The site uses “Open Book” technology and looks like pages of pdf actually. Very easy to use and the pages are set at 100% with clear font, so it’s no biggie 🙂 And if you like it, support the author by buying a copy (Where to buy)!
