I still get chills when he sings this 🙂 I wish he’d mention something about it being possible to download the song off iTunes for the non-AI watchers … And here’s the interview - wow - they gave him 3 segments on the show!
ETA : Kelly Ripa is such a fan-girl, she mentioned at the start of the broadcast how she came early so that she could catch Adam’s rehearsal (she never really does that). I’m happy about the questions - not much on AI itself, more on Adam’s childhood and background. And of course, Adam is such a star (!)

Kvetching on the Idolatry Finale - Adam is NOT “supposedly gay”

I only want to kvetch on two things as an Adam fan:
- He still had “moments” at his later run on the show - Rock night anyone?
- Why is he not considered “out”? - on Idolatry, they kept on saying “supposedly gay” - WTF?
I mean, didn’t the myriads of photos out there show that he’s OUT? But if people really want it in black and white - this is what he says on his friendster page which hasn’t been updated since 2005 (meaning he’s been out since a long, long time ago):

And here’s the official press release - Kris Allen - 19 Recordings Has Signed the American Idol Season 8 Winner and Has Licensed to Jive Records
…. Well, based on the Mediabase Add Board for his single “No Boundaries”. His official web page still has the RCA logo though, so what do I know?
ETA : Billboard IS showing Kris’ No Boundaries as JLG and Adam’s No Boundaries as 19/RCA. For some strange reason, Adam is charting on the Canadian charts.

Fan Video of Adam Lambert Singing “Mad World” for the CBS Early Show
Adam Lambert taped his appearance for the CBS Early Show this morning (which will be aired on Thursday). Some fans braved the cold, and voila - video! 🙂

- He sounds so good, even with the crappy sound system. I do hope that he’ll be singing another song when he guests elsewhere - I’m getting pretty tired of Mad World at this point. (Not his fault - my fault for playing it over and over on my iPod.)
