World Premiere - Adam Lambert’s ‘For Your Entertainment’ (Single)
** Update 2 : For Your Entertainment is now streaming at AdamOfficial.Com (where you can download it for $1.29!) and Adam’s Official MySpace so just head on to there!!! I’m sure RCA has ways of monitoring the stream. **
So, Adam just had the debut of his single ‘For Your Entertainment’ (Claude Kelly/Dr. Luke) on Ryan Seacrest’s show on KiisFM this morning. Listen up! (and I’ll upload the interview also once the podcast is up!)
ETA : This is the version playing on Perez Hilton which has the full introduction (he obv had access to the CD - MP3 DL link - right click, save)
So what do I think? I’m not completely happy with it, but I do dig the modern electronic-pop sound. Adam sounds amazing as usual… (his voice was a bit strange at the start, but when he hit the high notes, it’s definitely Adam) but I have a bad feeling that a lot of people who are expecting a pop-rock sound with a melodic hook are going to be very disappointed.
For whatever it’s worth, I think this one is going to sound great live. With dancing. And pyro. He is going to be completely OTT, fierce and fab performing this live!
And oh, yes, thanks to the wizards of ONTD_AI, here’s an MP3 download link (Mirror Link)! It’s a webrip, so can’t wait to get my hands on the iTunes version! (Accdg to RollingStone, ‘FYE’ will be available for digital download later today! Yay! Looks like RCA is moving fast!)
LYRICS!
(thanks to funkandroll of ontd_ai):
So hot / out the box / Can we pick up the pace? / Turn it up / heat it up / I need to be entertained / Push the limit / Are you with it? / Baby, don’t be afraid / I’ma hurt you real good
Let’s go / It’s my show / Baby, do what I say / Don’t trip / off the bits that I’m gonna display / I told you / I’ma hold you down until you’re amazed / Give it to you ’til you’re screaming my name
No escaping when I start / Once I’m in I own your heart / There’s no way to ring the alarm / So hold on until it’s over
Oh, do you know what you got into? / Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do? / Because it’s about to get rough for you / I’m here for your entertainment
Oh, I bet you thought that I was awfully sweet / A fallen angel swept you off your feet / But I’m about to turn up the heat / I’m here for your entertainment
It’s alright / you’ll be fine / Baby, I’m in control / Take the pain / Take the pleasure / I’m the master of both / Close your eyes / not your mind / Let me into your soul / I’ma work it ’til you’re totally blown
No escaping when I start / Once I’m in I own your heart / There’s no way to ring the alarm / So hold on ’til it’s over
Oh, do you know what you got into? / Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do? / Because it’s about to get rough for you / I’m here for your entertainment
Oh, I bet you thought that I was awfully sweet / A fallen angel swept you off your feet / But I’m about to turn up the heat / I’m here for your entertainment
Oh oh… / Entertainment… / I’m here for your entertainment…
Oh oh… / Do you like what you see? / Let me entertain you till you scream
Oh, do you know what you got into? / Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do? / Because it’s about to get rough for you / I’m here for your entertainment
Oh, I bet you thought that I was awfully sweet / You thought an angel swept you off your feet / But I’m about to turn up the heat / I’m here for your entertainment

Love this song! its rlly great! I hope k104 doestnt play it though bcuz then it will be overplayed. i cannot wait until his cd comes out and he looks hot on the cover. ive been wit ya all the way on Idol, man! luv ya!! lol he;s amazing!
it’s SOOOOOOO much better on adam official link. not so much electro, and much more recognizable adam vocals. i like it a lot. seacrest’s link distorted the sound.
